EpiNav Team - Surgery Planning Software Engineer
HK MedTech Hub, a joint laboratory of CAIR-KCL (King's College London), was established in February 2023 at Hong Kong Science Park. The joint lab will focus on key advantageous technologies that both parties currently possess, such as minimally invasive flexible surgical robotics, advanced medical imaging, AI-based surgical scene recognition. Researchers and clinical experts from both sides will work together to carry out technology development aimed at achieving clinical translation.
One of the R&D projects in the joint laboratory is to achieve technology transfer for a multimodal imaging platform called EpiNav. EpiNav allows for manual and advanced multi-trajectory automated planning, invasive EEG grid/electrode contact localization, SEEG signal visualization, source localization and resection planning.
