Research Interests: Medical image analysis, Multi-modal understanding, Medical image segmentation and registration

 

Dr. Zhiying Wu is currently an assistant professor in the Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences Limited. From Sep. 2021 to Feb. 2022, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Advanced Design and Systems Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. She received the B.E. degree from the Department of Automation, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree jointly with the Department of Automation from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, and the Department of Advanced Design and Systems Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, in 2021, where she was advised by Professor Min Xie and Professor Junlin Xiong. Her research focuses on medical image analysis and multi-modal understanding, medical image segmentation and registration, and event-triggered control and its applications to medical robots. Dr. Wu has published 15+ SCI/EI-indexed high-quality academic papers in IEEE Transactions and top conferences.
