Research Interests: Robot Vision, Robot learning, robot autonomous operation, robot human brain perception and control, intelligent robot system.

 

Dr. Peng Wang, doctoral supervisor, researcher at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher at the National Key Laboratory of Multimodal Artificial Intelligence Systems, leader of the "2035 Innovation Task" at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Artificial Intelligence Innovation Institute, distinguished researcher at the CAS Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligent Technology, and member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Youth Innovation Promotion Association

As the project leader, he has undertaken and completed over 30 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation Major Research Plan, National Science and Technology Major Project, National Key Research and Development Program, and National Natural Science Foundation General Program. 

He has published over 80 papers in international journals and conferences in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, including IEEE Trans.Cybern., IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, IEEE Trans.CDS, iScience, IEEE Trans.CSVT, IEEE Trans.IM, Frontiers in Neurorobotics, as well as top international conference papers in the field of robotics such as ICRA and IROS. He has been granted over 30 invention patents. 

He has received first prize in Beijing Science and Technology Awards (2012), second prize in Beijing Science and Technology Awards (2015), first prize in the China Automation Society Technical Invention Award (2018), the Excellence Award in the 3rd China Innovation Challenge (Yangzhou) (2018), and one of the "Top 10 Employees" at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2012).
