‘Signing Ceremony’ of Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAIR) and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) held an online signing ceremony on 1st of November 2021. Prof. Xu Bo, director of CAIR, and Prof. Zhao Ruheng, vice president of PolyU, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of two parties. Prof. Zeng Dajun, executive deputy director of CAIR, Prof. Zhang Zhaoxiang, executive director of CAIR, Prof. Li Qing and Prof. Zhang Lei, co-chairs of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Research Center of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, also attended the ceremony.
Both sides focus on the fields and directions of artificial intelligence, data science and robotics, carrying out the cooperation in scientific research projects, talent training and academic exchanges.
It is the first cooperation agreement between CAIR and a Hong Kong local university since its establishment as to establish a long-term, comprehensive and in-depth strategic partnership in the integration of science and education, to promote the rapid and healthy development of both parties. We focus on the establishment of science and technology development in the Greater Bay Area by fully combining the advantages.
